Leaving out what Fred already has, but including any ones already mentioned (since, if everyone has a certain song, peer pressure suggests Fred should have it too):
"Malkovich Masterpiece Remix," Mario C
"Maloney Wants A Drink," The Dubliners
"Mama [Metro Area Birthday Dub]," Hugh Masekela
"Mama Couldn't Be Perusaded," Warren Zevon
"Mama Said," White Ghost Shivers
"Mama Told Me Not To Come," Three Dog Night
"Mama's Boy," The Ramones
"Mambo Swing," Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
"Mamma Mia," ABBA
"Mammal," They Might Be Giants
"Man (Opposable Thumb)," The Presidents Of The United States Of America
"Man In Motion (St. Elmo's Fire)," John Parr
"Man Of Steel," Frank Black
"(Man Of) La Mancha," The Boogie Knights
"Man On A Mission," John Kay & Steppenwolf
"Man On A Mission," Van Halen
"Man On The Moon," REM
"Man With The Hex," The Atomic Fireballs
"Manhattan Project," Rush
"Maniac," Michael Sembello
"Manic Depression," The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Most recommended: "Manic Depression," of course, even though there's a lot of other legitimate contenders -- "Mama Couldn't Be Persuaded," "Mama's Boy," "Mammal," "Man (Opposable Thumb)," and "Man On The Moon." I'd also like to recommend "Manhattan Project," but Rush is sort of an acquired taste.
Oddly, there are no fewer than three neo-swing songs ("Mama Said," "Mambo Swing" and "Man With The Hex") in today's list, all of them quite good if that's the sort of thing you like. The Atomic Fireballs' "Man With The Hex," which shares a common origin with the "You Remind Me Of A Girl" song from Labyrinth, is probably the best. I believe I've actually recommended "Man With The Hex" earlier, as part of Nicolae Carpathia's Friday Random Ten (for those who don't remember the exercise, the goal was to choose songs where both the artist and title sound like things Nicky Massif Central would approve of).
Finally, for anyone who likes filk: "(Man Of) La Mancha," which fits the story of Don Quixote to the tune of "La Bamba," is one of the better filks I've ever heard.

to "correct certain deficiencies in your record collection."
Well, if one is lacking in music that follows the form:
[spoken/rapped phrase]-> HUNH! [repetition/variation of phrase]-> HUNH! and so on,
well, I could certainly understand why they felt your collection was deficient.

For the sake of Fred's music taste and Neo-McCarthyism then, my two missing songs I left out because they were duplicates;
- The Man Of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts - Sufjan Stevens
- Man On The Moon - REM

Fascism says 106, communism says 83, and my sense of decorum asks me to reduce that list to the following 16:
"Malign Apparitions," Cruciform Injections
"Malone Lives," Quarashi
"Mam'zelle Crapaud," Claude-Michel Schönberg
"Mama Used To Say," Hepcat
"Mama Mia," ABBA-DJ
"Man-O-Steel," All (Off the album Allroy's Revenge, my favorite All album)
"Man Don't Walk," Low Frequency in Stereo
"A Man I Knew," Jah Wobble
"Man in the Suitcase," Goldfinger (Covering The Police)
"Man Rape Blues," Chronic Sick
"Man Research (Clapper)," Gorillaz
"The Man Who Sold The World," David Bowie
"Mana," Sebrider
"Mandlebrot Set," Jonathan Coulton
"Manifest" Karsh Kale
"Mansion on the Hill," Alabama 3
I don't appear to have Bruce Springsteen's "Man at the Top," which dismays me. I just have a crappy cover of it. Also, "Mama Said," by the White Ghost Shivers can be found here, and is, as cminus said, worth checking out if you like neo-swing.

OK, so we have repeats of "Manhattan Project," but no "Malignant Narcissism"? Have the Rush fans on this thread not been keeping up with the boyz? Hie yez to a record store and acquire Snakes & Arrows forthwith! 's good!
The rest of the qualifying titles in my 'puter:
"Mama Help Me" - Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, Ghost of a Dog
"Mammal" - TMBG, yes, but live from the Trees Lounge in Dallas in '04
"Man in the Box" - the exquisite cover by Angie Aparo
"Man on the Corner" - Genesis, Abacab
"Mandelgroove" - Blue Man Group, Audio (making this one a repeat, yay!)
"Manhattan Skyline" - a-ha, Scoundrel Days
[looks down the list]
Huh. I have two songs, by two different artists, called "Marianne." That's yer answer if someone every asks you what Tori Amos and Cowboy Mouth have in common.
Anyway.
"If a child lives with money, well he learns to spend his time
If a child lives with crazy, he goes out of his mind
I didn't live with nothing that's worth talkin' about
But I didn't live with nothing, no, I never went without
But there is one thing that I really need to know
What do you have to live with before you learn to grow -- up?
Mama mama mama mama help me..."
There. Now you have it stuck in your head too.

Late, I know, but I wanted to think you for getting the Elvis Costello album title correct. So many people try to write it out as two words, and it just torques me off...
