Wow. The quote almost took me back 20 years to the first time heard the I Predict 1990 album. I haven't heard those songs in ages.
I had a friend around that time who tried desperately to turn me on to Christian rock. His efforts were a near-total failure (Petra, White Cross, others I can't even remember), with I Predict 1990 being the only offering to even register with me.
But man, I played that tape until it snapped. I never figured out why I liked it so much, but that matters less than the fact that I liked it.

Leaving out whatever duplicates Fred's list, which in this case is just the two "Jungle Love" songs:
"Jump," Van Halen
"Jump Right In," The Urge
"Jump They Say," David Bowie
"Jump Through The Hoops," The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
"Jump With Me Baby," Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
"Jumpin' Jack," Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
"Jumpin' Jack Flash," Rolling Stones
"June Bug," B-52's
"Jungle Boogie," Kool And The Gang
"Jungle Taitei," Boredoms
"Junior," John Mellencamp
"Junk," The Miss Alans
"Junkie," Slowrush
"Junkie Man," Rancid
"Junko Partner," The Hindu Love Gods
"Jupiter," The Presidents Of The United States Of America
"Jupiter, The Bringer Of Jollity," Zubin Mehta; New York Philharmonic Orchestra
"Jupiter's Child," Steppenwolf
Most recommended: Counterintuitively, I'm going to give top honors to "Jupiter's Child." "Junior" comes in second; the song makes great use of Mellencamp's natural empathy for the underdog. By a narrow margin my personal favorite on the list is actually "Jump Right In," but it's not so much Fred's thing, I think.

I'm oddly tickled that "Junko Partner" has so far appeared five times, but from four different artists.

What are the odds a show tune from "Carousel" ("June is Bustin' Out All Over") would appear twice here? Mine's from the 1945 Broadway production.

"Jungleland" is my favorite Springsteen ever. Partly because it actually sounds terrific with just piano and vocals.

I'm sorry Fred, but if you don't have Jump by Van Halen in your collection, then I cannot stoop to share with you what I have in my collection.

It's supposed to be songs that you have in your collection?
