TBAT would like to thank all the people who have submitted articles and encourages posters who are interesting in contributing regularly or irregularly to send in material. Having a number of articles that are ready for publication allows TBAT to maximize the variety of opinions as well as be responsive to "real-world" events and concerns.
About the sidebar.
TBAT have been working quietly to rearrange and "clean up" the sidebar by moving items around, changing fonts/font sizes and culling out "dead" links as well as links that are duplicated on the Patheos Slacktivist website.
In order to make this site more useful to its current readers TBAT will begin April 4 2011 to remove some of the sidebar links that are live and not duplicated on the Patheos website.
At the same time TBAT will add to the sidebar links to the websites of Slacktiverse readers and posters. Readers who wish to have their website included on the new blogroll should indicate their desire to be included by posting the address of their website as a comment in response to The Geography of The Slacktiverse, part 1 post on FAQ website.

It would be a good idea to keep the LB index stuff, particularly if you can keep it maintained in an easily navigable format. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been lurking for a while thanks to the liveblog; I personally plan to keep lurking at both sites thanks to the plethora of fascinating articles, but there's got to be hundreds of un-updated links to this blog that are looking for the LB stuff.
Back to the shadows with me!

Is this what you meant? It sounds like you might have meant one of the negation, converse or inverse of that.

@Ross: Is this what you meant?
Aha, this is actually the way that one of TBAT was trained to express the idea
"both (live) AND (not duplicated)"
however since it is confusing to some (almost everybody?) it will be redacted for clarity.

Ah, the joys of sidebar cleanup. I do not envy you, TBAT.

Question to anyone who happens to wander by -- trying to get feedback. I am a fan of the minimalist side bar (just enough information but not an excessive amount.) In my opinion when they get excessively long one has to put them into very small print and then they become incredibly difficult to read it the screen itself is small (or one's eyes are old). How do the rest of you feel?
I (with my modhat on) have been gently culling but the sidebar still seems messy to me.

Apropos of the discussion of video games here (Attention Jason?) a friend passed this article on to me: http://www.afterelton.com/other/2011/03/bioware-dragon-age-2-straight-men-complain-gay-men
Title: Bioware Tells Straight Men to "Get Over" Being Hit on By Gay Men in "Dragon Age 2"
One paragraph in particular in Bioware's response goes into rather good detail about "privilege." I think... I think the author of Bioware's response may just 'get it' but I need to find the original response and read it, and, well, considering I'm in a privileged group, I may be reading it with somewhat rosy-lensed glasses.

Submitted my first guest post. Maybe. If it's good enough. I hope it's good enough.
